Vintage Canoe men's or women's eau de cologne splash by Dana from the 1960s. Sale is for a 3 11/16 fl. oz. glass bottle that is approximately half full. Made in France, distributed from New York.
Bottle and label style matches ads from the 1960s.
Bottom of bottle is marked: Dana Canoe Bottle Made in France.
Condition: Label has some discoloration and staining (see photos). Estate sale find so I don't know how it was stored. Note that scent may have changed over time.
The fragrance was created in 1936 for women as a light and refreshing alternative to Tabu. Dana began marketing it to men in the U.S. market starting in the 1960s.
